A new location opened up on Federal in Portland, Maine. I liked the roasted beef with fried shrimp. Good combination.

Hibernation
I’ve been hibernating this winter. Spring feels so close now with the snow melting. I went for a walk this afternoon. It was still a little chilly but nice to get outside.
Sweet!
Yesterday I had some time in the morning so I checked out Botto’s Bakery to get sweets to share with family. Everything looked good in the display case. I splurged and will have to go back to try more. It was very delicious and added them to my favorites. They are right in Portland on Washington Avenue.
Food Truck
I was happy to finally get to try something from the food truck Fishin’ Ships. Mmm the High Thai’d fish with fries was so yummy. The fish melted in my mouth and the fries went well with the Thai mayo sauce. I’d love to try more off their menu.
Mmmm Donuts
On my way home this weekend I took a chance and stopped in Kennebunkport to grab some donuts from Satellite Donuts to share with family. I thought they were great being baked instead of fried with fun toppings. You get a free donut with iced coffee too.
Wandering
On Saturday I went down to York. I walked across the Wiggly Bridge and got a tour of the old Jail. I liked the bridge going back and forth on it.
Bagel Bagel
On Friday I went to Portland to check out the new Forage Market location on Washington Avenue. I got the forage bagel sandwich on a salt bagel. The location is nice and open with lots of seating. You can buy fresh flowers too. I’m excited to go back and try more of their bagels. Their cold brew was very delicious too.
