Yes I live in Maine and I do like lobster. Though I’ve noticed I don’t eat it that often. Today I decided to try a lobster grilled cheese from High Roller Lobster Company in Portland, Maine. I hadn’t thought of that combination before but it was actually very tasty. The bread and cheese they use went well with the lobster. The fries were dry but the dipping sauces were good. The place does play music and it can be loud in there but I was fine enjoying my meal. Compared to other lobster places they are creative with their offerings. I’d like to try their cheese crisp taco stuffed with lobster.

Noodles
Today I was very undecided as to where I should go out for lunch. I’ve been working from a list of places that I really want to try. It’s surprising but a lot of places are closed on Mondays so that does limit the choices. I scored a good parking spot on Congress Street in Portland so I decided to go with Mi Sen Noodle Bar. I love noodles and this was one of the places I had been really wanting to check out. I walked in and thought the place looked nice and was given a seat near the window in front. I liked that they have a lunch special so you can try a dish with an appetizer. I went with the chive cake as the appetizer. I had never had one before and it went well with the chili sweet soy sauce. The dish I chose was the dry noodle instead of my usual choice of pad Thai. I was happy I went outside of my comfort zone because the dry noodles with the sen ba mee (egg noodles) it was actually just like how I like my ramen with very little broth. So now I have a new favorite with the dry noodle dish. I liked how attentive and polite the staff was and how delicious the food was. After that experience I would put Mi Sen on my favorites list.
